The purpose of this qualification is to provide Aotearoa (New Zealand) with graduates who have attained sufficient skills to work in management roles in the health services industry. The course is designed for existing health professionals from diverse backgrounds with relevant qualifications and who have the interest to work in the health sector.
Entry Requirement
Domestic applicants - Learners enrolling must hold one of the following qualifications, or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience:

Health degree or equivalent qualification or higher; either/or

Completed a Level 6 health qualification or equivalent; either/or

Level 5 health qualification or equivalent with 2 years of relevant work experience; either/or

Appropriate work experience in the health sector
International applicants

International students will be required to meet NZQF Programme Approval and Accreditation Rules 2013 (Appendix 2) i.e. an IELTS Academic score of 6, with no band score lower than 5.5; or the New Zealand Certificate in English Language (Academic) (Level 5) [Ref: 1884].
